The plates were shipped to the site in 90 degree sections and welded in the field. As typical of many gas plant sites, cooperation with other contractors was key to coordinate daily work tasks due to space limitations and lack of available work area. Upon  construction completion in 2018 it became one of New York’s cleanest natural gas facilities.
